Nokia Lumia 930 will be missing at Build, claims report; OTA Windows Phone 8.1 updates to arrive in May

The April 2 Nokia event where we expect “#moreLumia” is basically part of the Microsoft Build conference starting today, and, according to both rumors as well as speculation, the world should expect the Lumia 630, alongside the higher-end Lumia 930 Windows Phone devices, powered by the latest iteration of the platform, 8.1.

However, a recent report (based on an anonymous tip) claims that the rumored Lumia 930 will not be unveiled; instead, we should prepare to see only the Lumia 630. Another recent report claimed that on April 23 we should be able to get both the 630 and the 930 (in addition to the Samsung ATIV SE), but so far, aside from conflicting reports, we’ve got nothing solid.

April 8, or around then, is when the report claims the Developer Preview will be available, with OTA updates for existing devices starting to roll out in May. We’ll of course find out more during this week, and we’ll keep you informed.
