Like that football game that just happened, this news may not end up being a total upset to Windows 10 Mobile fans.

After whiffs of a more-than-decent mid-range Lumia 850 — perhaps as Microsoft’s last of the last Lumia phones — have settled, it seems that a change in the narrative was called for. Sidlers at Baidu’s Nokibar subforum have been up in arms over what is claimed to be a phone with a 5.4-inch 720p screen and a Snapdragon 210, maybe a Snapdragon 212 instead. With the bigger chassis comes the loss of front-facing speakers and the addition of what’s likely to be an iris scanner for Windows Hello. Heck, if it were just a bit taller, we’d have a poor man’s Lumia 1520.

One person, without context, drops the date “February 15.”

Keep in mind that leaks and peeks aren’t gospel and we may end up with a fourth-and-ten surprise (ha, football). But at least one person has thrown in the towel.

“No one cares.”
