Lumia 1020 discounted on AT&T as Nokia tries to convince you that it beats the dSLR

You really have to use the Nokia Lumia 1020 in order to experience the quality of the images it generates, and to understand and leverage the creative power that it lends you. However, comparing it to a dSLR, and even saying it is better than one, is a statement some of you might agree with, while some will shake their heads disapprovingly. Nokia thinks the Lumia 1020 is the way to go, and you all should just forget about dSLRs and professional lenses. Check out their reasons in the video below.

But before you do, Nokia and AT&T have taken this opportunity to discount the phone on the US carrier. You can now grab it for as low as $49.99 on a two-year contract; price outright is $609.99, while it will set you back $30.50 over 20 months with AT&T’s Next installment plan.

That being said, let us know whether you’d ditch your dSLR for a Lumia 1020. It now generates RAW images too.
