Taking one look at a poorly shot photo of a device shouldn’t give you much to work from. Neither can a single, rather boring-looking render. But with Reddit spotting an LG V20 in the wild and other leakers giving the front-end business of what will be the first Nougat-native Android phone out in the market on September 6, we’re going to have to start working this phone out.

Here’s a side-by-side comparison of the leaked photo and a rumored render:

The depicted devices share the same, drab blue color and not a silver color as seen in this render. As a side note, we’ve also learned that LG has trademarked the term “Romantic Pink” in Korea, along with “Urban Grey” and “Sweet Silver”. Is there a little blue in that “Urban Grey”?

The leaked photo depicts the supposed V20 at a bias to the camera, thus cropping out any idea of a Second Screen and depriving us light to show off a second front-facing camera — both features told to be carried over from the V10.

Really, we’d be better off working on stories about the V20’s DAC.
