LG-P699 Gelato Gets BT Certification As T-Mobile’s Optimus Net

LG launched the Optimus Net phone together with the Optimus Pro some two weeks ago and we’ve been hearing about the Optimus Net being the LG Gelato. T-Mobile’s Gelato has just passed by Bluetooth and it’s wearing the model number LG-P699.

We’ve heard of the LG Gelato (called Optimus II back then) with the occasion of the T-Mobile leaked roadmap. As you can see in the image, the phone looks just like the Optimus Net, but with a light colored backplate and the T-Mobile branding.

Strangely though, the description states that “this model will be available on North America AT&T Market around August 2011”. Whether AT&T will sport the phone too or it is just a typo is yet unknown. However, you should expect a 3.2 HVGA display, 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 1500mAh battery and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
