Last week LG promised to deliver the Value Pack to Optimus G Pro users today and they did just that. The software update brings added functionality to the LG phablet so in case you have one make sure to check for its existence — if it hasn’t already popped up — and install it.

We’re still looking at Android 4.1.2 — and there’s no word on a 4.2 refresh — but the features added will be extremely useful for some (while others will surely dismiss them). Smart Video allows the phone to pause video playback when it detects that the user turns away — and resumes when the user looks bacl. Dual Camera will allow you to simultaneously snap a picture using your back camera as well as the front one, both images appearing in the final picture, while Pause and resume recording will enable you to do just that.
