LG Optimus Elite Pictured for Sprint, Virgin (Images)
While it’s no surprise that both Sprint and its prepaid brand, Virgin Mobile, will soon be carrying the Google Wallet-endowed LG Optimus Elite, a pair of new renders reveals that they will look quite different from the Optimus Net NFC we had originally anticipated. Specs-wise, we’re still anticipating the two handsets to offer mid-range features — save for their near field communication capabilities — on the order of 800Mhz processors, 3.2-inch HVGA displays, and five-megapixel cameras with flash.
Naturally Sprint’s Elite (codename: Gelato) will be the cheaper of the bunch, although even Virgin’s model shouldn’t fetch much more than $100. Look for the Sprint version to hit rather soon, followed by Virgin’s in early May.
