LG-Made Nexus 5, Nexus 7.7 And Specs Rumored For Google I/O

May 15-17, 2013, is the date for this year’s Google I/O to be held in Moscone Center West, San Francisco. The Google Nexus 4, made by LG, was announced on October 29, however, without an event due to horrible weather conditions. Rumors are already trying to outline new Nexus devices which are claimed to be unveiled at the upcoming Google I/O.

LG appears to continue to be the OEM of choice for the new Nexus 5, which will sport, according to reports and a forum post, a five-inch screen, as its name implies. The resolution appears to be Full HD and under the hood there will allegedly be the new NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor helped by 2GB of RAM. Storage options will be maintained at 8- and 16GB, 13-megapixel camera seems to be in as well as a three-megapixel front-facer.

The Nexus 7.7 is also mentioned in the report, with a 7.7-inch screen and WUXGA display of 1200 x 1920 resolution. On-board, just like in the case of the next Nexus phone, are the NVIDIA Tegra 4 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 8- and 16GB of storage, HD main and front cameras.

There’s no word on the platform version but as we’ve gotten used to by now, Nexus devices come with major Android iterations.
