While the LG V20 will be the first commercially available device with Android Nougat right from the box, it’ll take a little while for that same software to hit the G5. One size doesn’t necessarily fit all, even if the same company may not have too many differences to worry about.

Whatever the case, some 2,000 LG U+ subscribers in Korea will get the chance to test out LG’s new UI based on Nougat in a beta test that will start August 22 and last through October 28. Potential testers can enroll in the beta starting today. The package will be given out on a first come, first served basis.

Sony concurrently has a Nougat beta test going on for some of its Xperia X users.
