LG has a new phone out, the G Flex 2. But does that mean the G3 is no longer LG’s powerhouse flagship? We put a G3 next to the G Flex 2, and let them battle it out at CES 2015 for an initial comparison. Our LG G Flex 2 vs LG G3 video (available under this text) includes our first thoughts on how the two stack up, and more.

Even with the design, the influence of the G3 on the G Flex 2 is distinct. As Michael Fisher puts it, it’s almost as if someone sat on the G3 for long enough, it’d become a G Flex 2. The similarities don’t end there, either – they continue throughout the rear keys and backing material and until the software skin. In all, these are two very similar (but yet greatly distinct) superphones, and they’re both still compelling options.

We’ll have more shortly in a proper comparison as well as a full review once we get a review unit of the G Flex 2 in our offices, but for now, the below video will suffice. Stay tuned for further CES 2015 coverage, as well as other mobile tech muses, on the site and our social media channels.
