LG Super Phone

LG Band Play is the company’s most recent Android smartphone. Just announced, it’s a mid-ranger that focuses on multimedia, with emphasis on audio, as well as the camera. In terms of specifications on paper, the LG Band Play features a five-inch display with HD resolution (720p, 720 x 1280 pixels), 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card), a pair of 13- and five-megapixel cameras for back and front, respectively, 2,300mAh battery, as well as Android 5.1 Lollipop on-board.

The key features, however, are its multimedia capabilities. The LG Band Play is equipped with a 1W (watt) speaker that should provide rich and loud sound, but this is something LG has also highlighted as a key feature of last year’s LG G3. The camera features a wide-angle lens, as well as laser auto-focus.

While there’s no word on international availability, the LG Band Play will be available in South Korea for 394,800 KRW (about $355), and it will arrive with two color options: black and white.
