LeTV Max Pro may appear before CES 2016
LeTV will be in Las Vegas this year, but not at CES. It’ll be presenting a day before just outside of grounds. It’s likely then that we’ll learn more about the latest mega-flagship phone that the conglomerate has up its sleeves. It was clocked with record-breaking Snapdragon 820 performance and teased with a whole lot of attitude.
Well, if it weren’t enough to pack the muscle into this thing, we now have new limbs growing off of it: namely, ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, conventional fingerprint scanning on the main display area, iris scanning and “other such technologies.”
In terms of that ultrasonic scanner, it may be that the Max Pro will be the first device to use Snapdragon Sense ID — after all, the device has that Qualcomm chipset going for it. But the other two improvements aren’t things you can pooh-pooh, either. One’s more convenient while the other just looks cool.
We’ll likely be learning more at LeTV’s pre-CES event on January 5.
