Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 700: hands-on with the “Surface killer” (Video)

By Stephen Schenck September 7, 2015, 1:17 pm

The peak of IFA is well behind us, and as the expo wraps up, we’re getting a little time to circle back around and take a closer look at some products that launched over the course of the past few days. We just took another peek at the sizable Lenovo Phab Plus, and now we’re checking in with another of the company’s new products, the 12-inch 2-in-1 IdeaPad Miix 700.

We were already a bit taken with the Miix 700 when Lenovo announced it last week, offering shoppers an interesting alternative to Windows 10 tablets like Microsoft’s own Surface devices. At least, with an integrated kickstand and an included, detachable keyboard, that’s one comparison that’s going to be an inevitability – and truthfully, Lenovo may find itself with the advantage here, not only because of the high quality of that keyboard accessory, but because Lenovo’s able to include it while also undercutting the Surface Pro 3 on price.

More details on pricing, as well as info on the tablet’s hardware breakdown follow – watch our video for all those details:
