This is a rumor! It will probably be debunked in the next day, so treat it accordingly! According to hear-say, Lenovo and HTC have been in talks for quite some time now, concerning a buyout. HTC buyout, that is, at least that’s what this report is claiming, and, beyond the reports itself, there’s this terrible automated translation and a lot of perspectives getting in the way.

The rumor goes like this: since HTC has posted not-so-good financial numbers, apparently, and reportedly, there have been alleged top-level meetings between Lenovo and HTC executives, back in August. Lenovo has already taken over IBM’s ThinkPad branch, and is a very respectable name in terms of Chinese smartphone manufacturers. There are, of course, no other details, and, as usual, these rumors will definitely generate debunk reports, as well as hurt brand images. Again, treat this accordingly!
