LeEco launches Super4 X, uMax85 4K TVs
LeEco is positioning itself as “user first.” Its UP2U philosophy stands for “User Planning 2 User” model, but any feature that you may ask for from LeEco can be up to you. And with that business mission, a Chinese content and services company became a smart TV maker, a smart car maker and even a smartphone maker — funny how that came last.
So, what else did we get in addition to the smartphones? No 4K streaming boxes as Xiaomi debuted, but 4K TVs. All of them, 4K. There are three Super4 X TVs and then there’s that 7-foot long TV, the uMax 85. All of them feature quad-core CPUs, quad-core GPUs, Harman Kardon sound, a voice-enabled remote controller, on-board Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 and LeEco’s EUI.
A multitude of user interface tricks a (technically not Android TV) re implemented to get you “channel surfing,” such as being able to swipe Le content from your phone or car into your TV. And with over two dozen content partners in the US, including Lionsgate and Showtime, LeEco can loudly tout its vertical integration systems. It helps that it acquired TV maker Vizio earlier this year for distribution purposes.
In addition to the uMax 85-inch model, the Super4 X models come in 43 inches, 55 inches and 65 inches. You can claim LeRewards instant rebates at the LeMall website for the next two weeks before the initial flash sale on November 2. Here is the pricing on all models:
