It’s official: LeEco will break US boundaries on October 19 to expand several products and services

They teased, and previewed, and teased again until they had no choice and no play left but to confirm a date and venue. China’s rising tech stars over at LeEco (formerly LeTV), under the supervision of several Samsung, Huawei and Qualcomm alums, will introduce their “disruptive vision of a connected ecosystem of content-driven smart devices to the US market” on October 19 in San Francisco.

Specifically, at the Innovation Hangar in the iconic Palace of Fine Arts Exhibition Hall, 10AM PT sharp, exactly two weeks from the coming Wednesday. Right on time for a pre-Black Friday, pre-holiday season North American commercial launch of… whatever LeEco plans to unveil to help it “break boundaries”, and “ignite the eco world.”

We have a few ideas, of course, and the event invitation suggests the company’s entire domestic “ecosystem” might be making its way stateside. Well, maybe not the whole shebang, but definitely one or two phones, hopefully including the wildly successful, just-released Le Pro 3, plus… cars and bicycles?!

It’s true, some quirky product demonstrations are also in the pipeline in addition to crazy affordable high-end handhelds, though the electric driverless LeSEE automobile, for instance, remains a concept and pipe dream. October 19, don’t forget!
