Slab tablets don’t have much luster these days. But Samsung does know how to shine in this category, so it may as well keep the counter up with another Galaxy Tab S release. And it seems that the Tab S3 launch won’t be too far off from a refresh of Galaxy Tab S2 models.

That’s according to Eldar Murtazin of Russia’s mobile-review.com, a source of some tasty hit or miss leaks.

The Russian text reads, as translated by Google, “and [it] probably will.” A good notch of confidence from wherever he’s getting his information. Mind you, his date could be relegated to his native Russian market. SamMobile is hedging on a Gear S3 launch to be more likely at that date.

The Galaxy Tab S2 was announced on July 26 last year and put on T-Mobile around the start of September.
