Latest Sony Ericsson Home Launcher Leaked

By Anton D. Nagy August 1, 2011, 9:45 am

Newer Sony Ericsson Android smartphones, like the Xperia Ray that was recently launched, will be shipping with a slightly improved version of the manufacturer's home launcher. This software bit has been leaked and made publicly available.

You can download the APK at the source link and compared to the current version the new Sony Ericsson home launcher brings some minor changes. According to reports, there's a new section in the Settings called "Theme" which is not yet available. Also, you can uninstall applications straight from the app list and the widget overview screen has a new interface (plus makes the widgets fly if you shake the phone). It's been tested to work on Xperia X10, Xperia Arc and Xperia Play without problems.
