It’s been clear to Apple and the observers around the company: the iPhone 7 will struggle to get out of its own way to excel in sales.

Supply channels have been running tight, causing weekslong waits — at points, even monthslong — for customers waiting for their new device. It was especially the case that the new and delicate Jet Black finish pulled in a good swell of demand.

Well, good news for everyone if you’re looking for an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus for the holidays: most iPhone 7 purchases come with next-day delivery or pickup. Yep, even the Jet Black variants. Direct from Apple, it’ll take around a week or so for any given iPhone 7 Plus to ship over, though there’s hit-and-miss Apple Store next-day pickup availability.

Of course, missing out on the crowds means missing out on most of the discounts that carriers have offered, but at least the products there if you happen to want it.
