Is This Really the Next iPhone? Rumors Indicate August 7 Launch

iPhone 5 rumors and leaks are nothing out of the ordinary as we are approaching the third and fourth quarter and, make no mistake, there will be a truckload to come in the future. KitGuru claims that the pictures in this post are taken off of a “test sample” of the upcoming iPhone, which, by itself, would be just another rumor; the fact that the story has been already taken down makes us really intrigued.

If this is the real deal then the elongated, widescreen design, will become a reality. Next to the iPhone 4, the iPhone 4 looks taller exactly because of the screen. Additionally, the smaller connector and new speaker grill style — plus the bottom headphone jack — which we’ve seen in previous leaks of the rear frame seem to be a go too.

As far as the coming of the new Apple phone is concerned, while everyone is expecting a Q4 launch, Know Your Mobile is citing one of its anonymous sources (claimed reliable) to let everyone know that the exact date will be an August 7 keynote. If true, that’s less than a month away!
