iPhone vs. Windows Phone 7 (Video)

In this video, we compare the interface of Windows Phone 7 with that of the iPhone. Previously we showed you a web browser and email comparison between iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone 7. This is a closer look at how the iPhone differs from Windows Phone 7. As mentioned in the video, the home screen layouts are completely different. While the iPhone is a very application-centric operating system, which reflects on the home screen, Windows Phone 7 attempt to be more action-centric by providing a wide array of dynamic tiles for your home screen, many of which can show live data. We also cover the fast app switching, or lack thereof in Windows Phone 7. And finally, we compare play controls, which seem to be a bit more intuitive on Windows Phone 7…it turns out that you can access all play controls via the volume buttons, which makes it easy to play audio while you’re using another program.
