You may remember Ivo Marić, the CAD artist behind what we though was the best set of Galaxy Note 5 renders on July 18; sure they might be far from what the device might end up looking, but unofficial concept renders often are (and sometimes are spot on). Now we’re looking at another concept render from the same artists as he envisions Apple’s 2016 smartphone, the iPhone 7.

A 2.5D glass protects a Quad HD display and an Apple A10 chip powers everything; a 16MP camera will be able to capture all your stills and an Apple Dock will offer both connectivity and wireless charging solutions. Of course, these are all features imagined for this specific concept, so treat them accordingly.

As far as the design of the device is concerned, it brings back the glass on the back, something that Apple ditched after the iPhone 4S, but the iPhone 7 concept we’re seeing here looks to be turning back in time (or towards Samsung and its Galaxy S6).
