iPhone 7 carrier sales could wait some two weeks after launch event

What’s a few days between a multinational tech conglomerate and its anticipating customers? Well, possibly a few weeks of shipping hassles. But if you’re hitting your carrier up for an iPhone this September, you’re probably going to have an easier time than most and without the wait until 3am Eastern/midnight Pacific.

That said, it’d help if you could get an idea of how long you’ll have to wait for your AT&T iPhone 7 (or 6SE). And 9to5Mac thinks it has an idea, thanks to a leaked AT&T store reset schedule.

Two dates are listed on it: September 9, and September 23. The former looks to be a pre-order date while sales could start on the latter one. This is all after a launch event that’s rumored for September 7.

Up until last year, Apple has kept pre-order periods to one week. The iPhone 6s saw that period extend to two weeks and it may be that this new pattern continues this year.

That said, don’t jump until you hear it from the horse’s mouth.
