It’s a small phone that’s become the big topic for Apple for this half of the year. So big, in fact, that it’s been called three names over the span of its rumor-dom. We may now have our first eyes-on video of what the new 4-inch iPhone may look like.

The 40-second video with no narration shows off what could easily pass off as a gold-colored iPhone 6s or iPhone 6 on a paper tray. The home button gets a trim while the plastic antenna inlays remain in place just beside the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The video uploader purports that the device is one of the first demo units straight from manufacturer Foxconn. For its part, sources inside the company have indicated that mass production would start this month.

There is good reason to say that things are coming together for this iPhone c or e or whatever. But since sense of scale in the video seems tough to come by, we’re holding our breaths.
