iPhone 5 Assembled: A Size Comparison

We thought we had some nice pics of the iPhone 5 yesterday, with some big HQ shots of the phone’s front panel. Today things get taken one step futher, with a fully-assembled iPhone 5 (or, at least, with all external components in place) being shown-off in comparison to a couple existing iPhone models.
It’s easy to forget just how thin the iPhone 5 will likely be. While it’s a smidge less thick than the iPhone 4/4S, compared to the iPhone 3 it’s practically razor-thin.
We also get another look at the two-toned rear panel Apple appears to be going with. It’s an interesting choice from the company; we’re so used to very minimalist Apple designs that even something so simple as this can seem like a radical design departure.
At this point, we’re not sure what else is left to be seen of the iPhone 5 short of it actually up-and-running. We’ve still got plenty of questions about its capabilities, and short of some very detailed technical documents leaking, a hands-on with a finished phone could bring us just the answers we’re hoping for.
