Even though rumors claimed that iOS 9 would be a very conservative software update focused on ironing bugs, it’s actually far from it. Apple spent a great deal of time showing us what its new mobile operating system could do, and it was definitely necessary given the vast amount of changes. That said, believe it or not there is a lot more to iOS 9 than what was announced at the keynote, and we go hands-on to show you what other things changed.

Even though iOS 9 looks almost identical to iOS 8 and iOS 7, Apple has made some significant changes to the user interface. You’ll notice more subtle animations, in addition to extra priorities given to multi-tasking. The same goes for search options, as this is clearly another focus that Apple has pushed with this update.
