iOS 8 leak points to all we can expect from Healthbook

We continue finding more leaks of the iPhone 6 and even what we should expect for iOS 8 at this year’s WWDC conference. We’ve also heard about how Apple is planning to revolutionize fitness tracking through its iWatch as well. What we haven’t heard is how Apple plans to integrate this all through the new leaked service called Healthbook, though today’s rumors do shed some light.

Apple apparently plans to model Healthbook just as we currently see with Passbook. This app will be a stack of cards with different information that’s focused on the user’s health conditions. The report claims that the app will be able to track your fitness information, which includes steps, weight, calorie burn, heart rate, blood pressure and even hydration levels. Obviously the biggest question that’s left is how exactly is Apple planning to track this information, if we’ve seen that the M7 co-processor of the current iPhone 5s isn’t really as useful as Apple has marketed it to be.

Obviously for this to work, a wearable product will become necessary; so stay tuned for more rumors coming soon.
