Demo of Internet Explorer 9 on Windows Phone 7

You’ve already heard that Internet Explorer 9 is coming to Windows Phone 7 this year, but now we’ve got some video demos of it working at Mobile World Congress. Microsoft’s Joe Marini, Principal Program Manager, Windows Phone did a presentation at a developer’s day seminar that dealt with IE9 on Windows Phone. As you’ll see in the videos below, the big deal with IE9 is its much-improved standards support as well as HTML5 and CSS3. There’s some crazy things you can do with HTML5/CSS3 and it looks like IE9 will be able to handle them without issue. It looks like the address bar for IE9 will also move to the bottom of the screen where it’s easier to reach with your fingers.
