How to root and install Xposed Framework on the Moto X (Video)

By Taylor Martin January 23, 2014, 6:15 pm

The Moto X may be a spectacular little handset. Most of us here at Pocketnow have been smitten with the smartphone since we first laid eyes on it and Moto Maker back in 2013. And several of us now use the Moto X as our full-time daily drivers.

Regardless of how much love the Moto X has received from press and most of those who have used it, Motorola’s modest flagship hasn’t managed to turn the heads of too many developers, even with a dedicated developer edition. The Moto X development forums are barren, at least by comparison to devices like the HTC One and Galaxy S 4.

That said, it doesn’t mean you can’t hack and mod the Moto X until your heart is content. That’s where Xposed Framework comes into play. Watch the below video to learn what Xposed Framework is and how you can get it, as well as other modules like GravityBox [KK] on your Moto X!
