BBK, owner of OnePlus, OPPO, vivo, launching education brand called imoo

In the nebulous of smartphone manufacturers that is China, there’s always one brand trying to be the same as Apple, another trying to be different and one more trying to be the same as everyone else.

Take BBK, for instance. It owns the OPPO and vivo brands and is strongly connected to the OnePlus brand. The company has a massive presence in the consumer market. What it might want to do next is tailor its craft for the education industry.

Enter this teaser poster that connects the BBK name and its 20 years of expertise in the education business to a new name: imoo. And apparently, what we see is one big fat “record” button on the side of a phone.
