If a 44mm smartwatch makes sense for your wrist, you may interested in either Huawei Watch for Women — one is encrusted with Swarovski zirconia and named “Jewel” while the plainer one is named “Elegant.” We got to know them at CES and it was a full month ago that the Google Store started listing, but not selling the two. Google’s still not selling them, but Best Buy, Newegg and B&H are to varying extents.

With Best Buy, it only has an entry for the “Jewel” on its site, though it looks more like the Elegant — the picture and the price of $449.99 are the tells. Orders will get through processing on May 3.

Newegg has bundled all variants of the Huawei Watch under a single listing and the new Watches for Women are below the umbrella there — the Elegant is the “Pearl White Italian Leather Strap” variant while the Jewel is the “Sapphire Blue Italian Leather Strap” one. Newegg’s selling the former for $449.99 and the latter for $549.99, both at a promoted $50 markdown. Both watches are billed for release on May 3.

B&H is a special case, though: for one, pre-orders are going on through May 20. While both Elegant and Jewel are going for the same prices as Newegg, the retailer’s tossing in a $50 gift card and a microfiber cloth, a $64.95 value for free.

The marketplace situation for a couple of femme techie gear looks quite butch around the edges. Hopefully things will clear up as time passes.
