We’ve been talking a lot about Asian smartphone manufacturers recently. ZTE’s Axon is quite the interesting smartphone, one we’re eager to put through our full review process soon. Another offering that comes to mind is the rumored ZTE Blade D6. Next week marks the beginning of Huawei’s Summer Whirlwind Festival, and what better way to commemorate that than by launching a new smartphone, right? The Huawei Honor 4A will be going official next week to kick the festival off, according to a Huawei teaser.

According to the teaser image (which we’ve made available below this text), the Honor 4A will debut on July 21 at the Beijing Galaxy Soho, obviously in China. Huawei has announced that the unveil will be visited by prominent artists Song Dong Ye and Peng Dan, too. There actually isn’t much in the way of leaked information about the Huawei Honor 4A – but judging from the teaser image, and the invited guests, this sounds like it could be a music-focused device. The Honor line tends to be mid-range, too, so that’s basically all we have to work off of at this point in time.

We’ll be learning more next week, as the Summer Whirlwind Festival runs from July 21 to 23.
