Huawei has been on a roll with its announcements today at IFA, but then again, that’s the Huawei way of doing things. Just earlier we learned of the Huawei Mate S, and we even showed you our second look with the Huawei Watch. Huawei also excels in the midrange market though, so it’s only fair to see something in that department as well.

Huawei has just announced the G8, which is a premium mid-ranger that claims to excel in photography.  Its design is definitely not of an average mid-range smartphone, but the Snapdragon 615 processor under the hood is. We also notice a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery. The major selling point here is apparently its 13 megapixel primary camera, which is claimed to provide great low-light performance.

Sadly no details were provided on the camera internals that should pull that off, but we’ll get you updates as soon as we learn more.
