We know a lot about the Huawei Ascend P8, despite the fact that it’s not yet been made official. April 15 is when we expect to hear official wording about the device, but we’ve already heard rumors of its possible ceramic and glass build, as well as a tentative aluminum frame for the device. What we didn’t know where its exact internals, but those are no longer a secret thanks to this Huawei Ascend P8 leak.
A 5.2-inch screen is expected to be at the front of the Ascend P8 (Ascend P7 showed in the image above), with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. At the core of the smartphone will likely be an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 930 CPU, helped by 3GB of RAM, and backed up by 32Gb of internal storage. A 13-megapixel camera should take care of all your imaging needs, all in a 6.4mm thick/thin build, and the good thing is that all of this information is claimed to arrive from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
As far as pricing is concerned, reports are conflicting (and also depending on the market, they might vary). Some claim the Ascend P8 will go for about $485, others believe it will be closer to $530 unlocked.
We’ll definitely know more on April 15, after the official Huawei London event.
