New HTC Sense 5.0 Screenshots Arrive

After hearing a little about the revamped HTC Sense 5.0 early this month, we started getting our first taste of the skin alongside a number of leaked images from HTC’s rumored M7 Android smartphone. Now we have a few more Sense 5.0 pics to share with you, apparently sourced from an M7 ROM.

Supposedly, these pics came from a user who was able to flash a Droid DNA with files from an M7 ROM. They certainly look the part of Sense 5.0, and seem to match nicely with the leaked M7 images we’ve already seen. As all these views of the UI continue to pile up, it’s seeming clear that those early comments about Sense 5.0 being “simple and clean” were right on the money. We’ve heard a number of opinions that the new Sense feels less reliant on skeuomorphic elements than previous incarnations, and based on all this we’d have to agree; HTC really seems to have reconsidered its overall UI design strategy.

Now we just need to hear HTC get official with Sense 5.0, and hopefully learn a bit about which existing models might be seeing updates deliver this new look.
