China first saw an evolved form of the HTC One A9 late last year. Europe now finally gets a chance to look at the phone and so do we at MWC.

Everything lives larger on the One X9: from the 5.5-inch screen — still 1080p and also a return to Super LCD — to that 13-megapixel f/2.0 camera with OIS 2.0 to the whole design aesthetic of the A9. BoomSound gets a comeback with Dolby-enhanced loudness. Capacitive keys, for better or worse, are also here, along with a 5-megapixel selfie cam.

Android Marshmallow and Sense UI come upon a MediaTek X10 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM, microSD-expandable storage, dual-SIM capability and a 3,000mAh battery.

We’ll see what kind of a price hike this device takes when it hits greater Asia, Europe and the Middle East late this month. For the meantime, it’s a “see it to believe it” kind of thing, and we have it for you here.
