HTC One colors

HTC might not be able to beat Samsung’s sales numbers for the Galaxy S 4 with its One flagship, but the Taiwanese company managed to snag a European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) award.

It’s not just any award: EISA named the HTC One the “European Advanced Smartphone” for the year 2013-2014. The One packs a 4.7-inch Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 processor, helped by 2GB of RAM. The rest of the details, and much more, can be found in our full HTC One review.

Peter Chou, HTC’s CEO, said: “We are delighted that six months after launch, the HTC One continues to be recognized as the best phone on the market. We are committed to continuing to drive the industry forward in all areas of the mobile experience and this award is a testament to the hard work of our designers and engineers who never stop developing the next breakthrough innovation that will propel the industry into the next era of mobile communication and entertainment”.
