On the Marshmallow watch once again. This time, it’s a race for second.

As much as we beat the dead horse about Sprint’s recent sprint for software updates with the HTC One M9, One M8 and the LG G4, it’s still important to catch where the competition lines up. People in general would rather kick the can on pressing the “Update” button, but many inside our circles don’t like to wait — in which case, they get an unlocked version of the phone, but that’s besides the point.

Verizon and T-Mobile have just approved Android 6.0 updates for their versions of the HTC One M9. Both are set to start rolling out on the same day: next Wednesday, February 16.
