HTC One M9+ launched in India, alongside One E9+
The DuoCamera and fingerprint scanner enabled HTC One M9+, announced by HTC on April 8, is now official in India. While it is highly unlikely that we’ll see this phone in the United States and Europe (where HTC is heavily relying on the HTC One M9), many consider the One M9+ to be the phone the One M9 should have been.
We’re looking at the same One M9+ that’s been announced last week: a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, an MT6795T octa-core chip with a maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz (MediaTek Helio X10 core processor), 3GB RAM, 20-megapixel main camera with the DuoCamera feature, four-megapixel UltraPixel front facing camera, fingerprint scanner, BoomSound speakers, and a 2840mAh battery (same as on the M9).
It goes for Rs 52,500 (around $840), and will be available starting May 3.
However, there’s no pricing or exact date for the HTC One E9+, which was also announced today for India, with its 5.5-inch Quad HD display, same MT6795 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage (expandable via microSD), 20-megapixel camera, four-megapixel front facer, plastic body, BoomSound speakers, and 2,800mAh battery.
