If you’re among those who hasn’t already found a way to run Android 5.0 on your 2013 HTC flagship, you should be happy to find out the the official HTC One M7 Lollipop update is rolling out to some users, specifically those rocking the¬†unlocked version, or Developer Edition variant.

After yesterday’s update roll-out to the Sprint HTC One M7, this announcement, made by Mo Versi on Twitter, reassures users that the company hasn’t forgotten about the device, and its promise to deliver Google’s latest and greatest (even if it didn’t happen within 90 days). The One M8 Lollipop update procedure is well on its way, and, despite HTC’s mea culpa (sort of), more and more devices are being updated to Android 5.0.

That being said, go ahead and grab your Lollipop treat, and drop us a comment below with your experience. Don’t expect a newer (major) version of Sense though, as that’s reportedly going to be a One M9 launch exclusive for a while.
