With the “Google Edition” announced, and expected to land on June 26, the Taiwanese manufacturer is looking to deliver the HTC One Android 4.2.2 update. According to HTC Russia’s Andrey Kormiltsev, the HTC One Android 4.2.2 update will arrive over-the-air. It is scheduled for mid-June, which is just a couple of weeks away. It will most probably land just in time for the “Google Edition” One’s availability.

As far as the update itself is concerned, according to recent leaks, we should expect the new version of Android alongside some tweaks to Sense 5. Reports talk about battery percentage display, changes to the app drawer and dock, notification toggles, Android Daydream, and long press home button/menu button changes.

Owners of the HTC One are also rumored to have an option for a stock, Nexus-like experience, though the information has not yet been officially confirmed.
