HTC Officially Launches European Version of EVO 3D

The HTC EVO 3D was announced in relation to Sprint at the end of March as the Taiwanese manufacturer’s first glasses-free 3D smartphone on the U.S. carrier. HTC has just announced the European (GSM) version of the smartphone called interestingly still the EVO 3D.

You’ve got all the goodies the Sprint version has: 1.2-gigahertz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch qHD glasses-free 3D screen, 4GB of internal storage, 1GB RAM, dual five-megapixel 3D cameras in the back with dedicated 2D and 3D mode switch, for capturing stills and 720p video, 1.3-megapixel camera on the front for video chat as well as Android 2.3 Gingerbread and HTC’s own Sense 3.0 on top of it. There’s an MHL port that doubles as microUSB as well as microHDMI for syncing respectively hooking up via HDMI to a (3D) TV. As far as availability goes, you’ll be able to grab the smartphone in July as an alternative to the LG Optimus 3D.
