HTC Becomes The Official Smartphone Of the UEFA Champions League, Europa League

By Anton D. Nagy December 12, 2012, 4:31 am

On a quick, miscellaneous, but happy note, football (for some, soccer) fans around the world, and especially in Europe, will be glad to find out that HTC has become the official smartphone of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. The Taiwanese manufacturer has just made the announcement that over four billion fans of the sport across the globe could stay connected with its phones.

The two tournaments, despite being specific to Europe (where national champions, club winners and runner-ups clash) definitely have fans outside the old continent — our own Jaime Rivera is one of the biggest FC Barcelona fans on the team, while I myself am torn between Manchester City and Inter Milan this season — and HTC is committed to offering the best fan experience possible.
