HTC M4 Leak Looks Like an HTC One Mini

We have heard a whole lot of claims about the HTC M4 over the past several months. Some of those suggested it would be a smaller version of the HTC One, with a metal body and all. Some said that the M4 would be more like an HTC First sans Facebook, with the same 4.3-inch 720p screen. Today a very believable-looking render of the phone has arrived alongside some updated specs and it sort of seems like everyone was right: we get that HTC One look alongside that HTC First display.

While there are a few tweaks, the design here is largely the same as the One’s. The only changes we can spot are a relocated flash, the absence of that little divider in the metal frame right above the lens, and slightly narrower and more rounded-off grilles for the stereo Boom Sound speakers.

That 4.3-inch 720p screen is supposed to be present, along with a dual-core SoC, 16GB of internal flash, an LTE radio, and the same UltraPixel image sensor employed on the One. The phone should arrive running Android 4.2.

The HTC M4 is expected to go official sometime before mid-year, so hopefully we’ll have the rest of its details soon.

Update: The M4 is rumored to be coming to AT&T in the States.
