Regardless if you have a “limited edition” white EVO 3D or just your regular one that does or does not overheat, you can now overclock the phone and then put it to the test against the Galaxy S II.

Since the EVO 3D and the Sensation are so close in terms of internals, the overclocking is reportedly applicable to both. With a custom kernel it was possible to overclock the EVO 3D to an insane 1.8GHz and get great results in benchmark apps demoed in the video above. Since the developer doesn’t have a Pyramid to test with, it is currently only available for the EVO 3D and you can read more at the source link below the video.
