HTC Desire 626s on T-Mobile, MetroPCS get Marshmallow

More than a month after Sprint passed out its version of Android Marshmallow onto the HTC Desire 626s, T-Mobile and prepaid subsidiary MetroPCS have gotten their act together in moving Android 6.0.1 onto the device.

HTC’s Mo Versi managed the product on Twitter:

Anyways, the pertinent number to look for is software version 2.17.531.1 and you should be able to receive the OTA by July 25. If you’d prefer a quick install, we’ve linked the T-Mobile support page for the device. where there’s a download link for the package.
