HTC Blue Angel Froyo Port in Progress

Yah, we know, the Blue Angel, with its 320×240 QVGA display, 400MHz CPU, and 128MB of RAM, isn’t exactly a desirable device nowadays, but it was back in 2004, and the Windows Mobile fans of the past know this device well. Just because the Blue Angel is now seven years old doesn’t mean that development has to stop! Over at XDA, developer d-two is working on an SD Card port of Android 2.2 for the Blue Angel, with the eventual goal of doing a NAND-based build to give the Blue Angel that native Android feel. The developer has yet to release files for other Blue Angel owners to try, but he posted a video, shown below, proving that he is indeed getting close to a working build.

Does anyone out there remember the Blue Angel? Does anyone still have or use one?
