HONOR announced their latest Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro flagship devices at MWC 2022, and it appears that the company may be planning on announcing a more affordable version very soon, called the Magic 4 Lite. The HONOR Magic 4 Lite is recently leaked, revealing some of the specifications and rendering images of the upcoming smartphone.

The renders and the specifications were revealed by Appuals, and show a familiar design. The look of the Magic 4 Lite appears to be nearly identical to the standard Magic 4 series of flagships. On the front, it has a 6.81-inch LCD display with 1080 x 2388 resolution, and reportedly 120Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole cutout will house a 16MP f/2.4 selfie camera.

The device is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset, and it will also support 5G connectivity. It will reportedly have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it will also have a dual-SIM slot. There will be a 48MP f/1.8 primary sensor on the back, a 2MP f/2.4 macro and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

The HONOR Magic 4 Lite will have a 4,800 mAh battery, which is conveniently the same capacity as the one in the Magic 4, but it will only support 40W fast wired charging, down from 66W on the vanilla Magic 4. The phone will also lack wireless charging support. The device will also have an IPX2 splash resistance certificate, and it will have a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 6 (ax), NFC, and it will run Magic UI 6 on top of Android 11.

The HONOR Magic 4 Lite will reportedly be available in Black, Blue and Silver color options, and the standard 6/128GB model will retail for around €300 ($330). We don’t have any details on when the Magic 4 Lite might be unveiled. At the MWC 2022 event, HONOR also unveiled the new Earbuds 3 Pro wireless earbuds and the HONOR Watch GS 3 smartwatch.
