Google Trips lets you pick a plan or plan a trip yourself

If you like to make the most of your vacation but haven’t the foggiest of where to start planning your ventures, Google has a few of them for you in its new Google Trips app for Android and iOS.

In addition to sorting out your travel arrangements and any rental or reservation situations you may have, you can pick a site plan to hit up for any particular day for the amount of time you have, be it half a day or all day. You can download trips to keep them handy if you want to forego getting a new SIM for the stay. In fact, all of your travel information is handily stored within the app.

But if you’re feeling a little spontaneous while you’re right in the thick of things, you can just add an item to your itinerary, hit up a map and tap the “magic wand” for some new locales to view. You can pin as many down as you’d like and keep tapping the wand to keep your agenda fresh.

Take a look at Google Trips next time you’re hitting the asphalt, tracks, air or water and tell us how you lucked out if you decide to go discovering.
