Today marks the arrival of some new apps from Google, with the debut of those Docs and Sheets programs for both Android and iOS, but that’s just scratching the surface. This being an update Wednesday, Google’s got some new builds available for existing apps, as well, and this afternoon we learn about new versions rolling out for Google Search and Google Play Games.

Remember back near the start of the month, when an APK teardown suggested that Google Now (by way of Search, obviously) would be getting a feature whereby it could remind you where you parked your car? Sure enough, that debuts with today’s 3.4 update, and the introduction of a new parking card. In addition to that, Google adds a centralized list for managing nicknames (so when you say “text mom” it knows who you’re talking about) and improves how past reminders are displayed for your reference.

The Play Games update is a little more low-key, with no obvious sign of new features. Instead we see some UI tweaking, like changes to how the app’s navigation bar appears, and some re-wording, like calling your list of matches your inbox. There’s also support for notifications when you’ve got gifts or invites incoming.

So far, these are the only two Google Android app updates we’ve caught wind of today, but if any new ones find their way onto our radar, we’ll update you with those details.
